The Dress Problem: Solved!

As you all know, the dress has been purchased for only about the amount that I could get a used car for.  I keep asking myself "what have I done?!" but then I realize that if I'd gone with any of the less expensive dresses I thought were just ok, I wouldn't enjoy my wedding day as much.  It's true you only wear it one day, but then again, you only get to wear a wedding dress once

Want to see the pictures?  FYI, mine will be whiter than this ivory one I have on here, and the bow will be lighter, too.  Also, my bouquet will not look like this!

"Dresses"

One of the biggest choices for your wedding day: the bridal gown.  I've been looking at magazines and online for awhile, and I guess I'll be hitting some stores sometime soon (weird!)....

Want to see my two favorite dresses so far?

1.)  http://www.jmhc.com/Collections/CollectionsByName.asp?vCollectionName=11&vPageNum=3

(It's the one on the right--"Nuvia".  I'm not a fan of the jacket but I like the rest.   To click on it and see details, enter "cchoi005" for the user name, and "vuleneqa" as the password.)

2.)  http://jennyleebridal.com/frames_sp04/Spring04_Frameset.htm

(It's the fourth one, Style 408.  I actually think I like this one the best.)

The difficulty is that both of these dresses are very expensive.  So I have to see if I can find something similar for less, or find the same ones at an amazing deal somehow...I have been checking ebay occasionally, actually.  Or I can volunteer at NIH for some crazy study where I'll lose a limb, or my vision, or gain some scary scars, but come out with $3,000.  Um, I think I'd take David's Bridal over that.

Tell me what you think!

Peach and I thought this would be a good way to share ideas, post links and pictures, and receive input on wedding stuff, so here it is: the wedding xanga!

One thing I must ask: Please do not put this on your subscription list or give the info to all your family and friends; I'd really prefer not to have everyone and their mother looking at my wedding ideas and giving advice.  Thanks!
